At the home show this spring, there is supposed to be more vendors than ever before. I know for a fact that it took my husband and I three hours to walk through it last time, so I am not sure how many more they are bringing in and how long it will take to get through this year.
We spent a lot of time talking with a custom home additions contractor and he explained how he could add that second family room off the back of our house and make it all blend and look natural. I know that our neighbors had this same custom home additions contractor put on their sunroom and it looks like it was original with the house.
My husband liked the contractor that the neighbors used but many people have told him that they are priced really high and that we should check out this other well known home remodeling Cary NC company that does a good job but does not overcharge. I know that they were not at the home show last year because I looked for them but if the home remodeling Cary NC company is there this year then I think we will have them come out to our house and give us an estimate of what it would cost for them to add on that second family room we have been wanting.

I knew that they had a very competent staff and that the owner was very well off but that does not always make or break a company these days. Selling old jewelry has become a past time of my grandparents these days. I know that my great grandmother was very wealthy and left all her jewelry to my grandma but I would think that she probably wanted her to keep it, wear it and then pass it down. My grandparents have instead decided that selling jewelry is a way to pay the bills and travel. They have taken four vacations just this year and are in the stages of planning another one.

I would love to just get one of my great grandmother’s pieces to have for a keepsake but at the rate my grandparents are going, it will all be gone before too long.
I hope that selling jewelry has not become the way to get by for other people. If there are family heirlooms then considering other people’s feelings would be a smart thing to do before you sell off everything for a few fun vacations here and there. I am hoping to discuss this matter with my grandparents and hope that I can make them see my point of view on it.

My mother told me not to give them all of the money for the kitchen remodel, but they told me that all services were to be paid up front. I had my bank make out a cashier’s check for the full amount and took it over to their office so that I could be next on the list for my remodel.

I called and thanked my friend for telling me about them and offered her a free day at my salon, as soon as it opened.
My only hope at keeping up with all the bills and paying off the big loan I had to take out last summer was to cut some of our staff and look into other ways to save money. I had always wanted to be able to buy some new servers and have them installed in the office but there has just never been enough money to do that in our budget. He was a little upset and tried to tell me that he had quality products and was trying to make me think that since I was not paying more, I was getting cheaper made product.
