My father invited my husband and I to a Minnesota home improvement store to pick out some things that we needed for our house. He knew that we wanted to do some remodeling but could not afford to do it at this time and wanted to help us out. He is such a great father; I am very blessed that he would do this for us.

The first thing on our list was to install some new doors and vinyl replacement windows. I had taken all the proper measurements and knew exactly the style that I wanted. The Minnesota home improvement store told us that we would have to wait two weeks for all of the vinyl replacement windows to be ordered but that they would call us as soon as they came in.

We were able to get the doors and start the process of installing them. We worked for three hours alone on the front door but the back door only took us about half of the time since we knew a little more of what we needed to do, from already installing the one in the front. I was so proud of us for doing it all by ourselves.
