I chose to have iron gates and iron entry doors installed at our new house. My husband told me to find exactly what I wanted and order it. I knew that the look that I had seen in a magazine about four weeks earlier was what I wanted for my house.

I figured that I would walk in and it would be easy, I was wrong. There were too many different styles and colors and I spent about four hours trying to make a decision. I asked the salesman what color would look best against my new house which was going to be white. He told me that you can never go wrong with the basic black, it goes with everything. I just happened to walk past a set of iron gates on display that had some great accents on it. The sales man told me that he had specially ordered a set of iron entry doors that matched the gate for a customer last month and they looked great together.

I called and asked my husband if it would be okay if it took six weeks for our iron entry doors to come in and he let me know that since the contractors would not be ready for them for at least three months, it would be fine.
