I had always wanted to be able to buy some new servers and have them installed in the office but there has just never been enough money to do that in our budget. I was able to find a really good company though that did however offer used poweredge servers that looked and ran like they were new and I figured that they would be the next best thing to buying new servers.

I printed out the many different types of used servers that were on the site and let my staff vote on the ones they thought we should buy. The used servers that they chose, by a overwhelming vote, were the used poweredge servers. They were my first choice too, but I did not tell them that.

I placed the order for the used servers that afternoon and they were in by the end of the week. The whole office was excited when the delivery man brought them in that they all cheered. He laughed at them when the lady at the front desk explained to him what was in the boxes. He said he understood and was happy for all of us.

We had the used servers installed over the weekend so as not to have anyone be in the computer tech’s way and so that they would be up and running by the beginning of the following week.
