The cheapest pair of girls pajamas that I could find for my daughter, were footie pajamas. In fact, they were six dollars cheaper than all the character night gowns and the princess pajama sets that were in the store. I had to be able to get her at least four pairs of girls pajamas and I did not have that much money to spend on them.

I decided that since no one would see them, and they would keep her warm at the same time, I would just buy the footie pajamas in four different colors and it would be fine. I bought yellow, green, pink and red for her and she loved them. I am glad that she did not go to the store with me and see all the pretty pink girls pajamas with all of the princesses on them or she would have wanted them.

I am going to save my money to get her at least one pretty princess nightgown for her birthday next month. It will not keep her as warm as the footie pajamas, but she will love it. I think that once she starts going to sleepovers with girlfriends, the fancy nightgowns are a must, but for now since she is just four and her father and I are the only ones who see her before bed then what she has will do.
