The personal fitness trainers that I have worked with in the past always came recommended from a family member or a friend. I had never had to find one on my own, till I moved to the UK. Then, since I really did not know anyone, I had to do it all on my own. It was much easier than I thought it would be. I just used the internet and typed UK personal fitness trainer in and there were tons of people who popped up.
I wrote down four names from the UK personal fitness trainers search and then called and set up appointments with each of them. In fact, I made them all back to back, to see how they reacted when they knew I had other personal fitness trainers to compare to them. Most of them handled it very well, but there was one of them that seemed to be very bothered by the fact that I wanted to shop around.
I hired the trainer that told me that they could work around my hectic schedule. It seemed that the rest of them wanted to put me into a certain day and time and stick with that, but my work schedule does not allow for things like that, to be set in stone every week. I need to have a trainer that can be very flexible and come when I call them.
The debate of what we need more has been going on for weeks now. The women of this office believe that having hand dryers in the restrooms can cut down on messy wet floors and also money, because you do not have to buy the paper towels all the time.
The men want to have waterless urinals installed in their restroom, since they saw them when they went to the last training session. I think that what they do not understand, is that those waterless urinals were located in a five star hotel and not the little building that people sell computer equipment out of.
I know that the budget does not allow for both of the things that are wanted, so a decision will have to be made between the waterless urinals and the hand dryers very soon. I am thinking that the two big wigs upstairs will make the final decision. It could go either way since one is a woman and one is a man. In the end, there will be one group of unhappy people in this office but they can always look forward to getting whatever they wanted next year when this issue will be revisited.
The guy selling old silver coins at the coin show last week was practically giving them away. I think that he either really needed the money, or just wanted to reduce his inventory. I paid only five dollars for a coin that I know is worth twenty dollars at least. I talked with him about it, and he told me that he only had five dollars into it, so that was all he needed back.
I walked around to a few other vendors who sell coins usually every weekend here and asked them about the guy selling old silver coins dirt cheap. They told us that he just recently closed down his pawn shop that he had been running for over thirty years and just really wanted to unload as much merchandise that he could and by offering everything lower, he was trying to insure that it indeed happened.
I would think that if you come to a show, to sell coins that you should be able to get at least their market value since you are dealing with people that are experts in this area. I feel kind of bad with getting my silver coin for only a quarter of what it is worth, but it is what the guy insisted on.
