My daughter finally had one of her dreams come true. She’s been working as a stage actress for several years and she was able to save up for a new house in the city. We went there yesterday, and I can say that the house spells independence in every angle. It really represents who my daughter is-firm, headstrong and confident. Knowing how she worked hard for this house makes me feel that I did a really good job as a father.

However, since she is living alone in the city, my fatherly instincts worry so much for her safety. I envied my mother’s newly constructed custom closet organizer in her town house. It has a lot of open spaces, shelves, drawers and a beautiful sliding door—-my most favorite part.
